Susan Munroe, Travel Writer

I am a 20-something female who is addicted to travel and has a passion for writing and photography. I'm a reader, an idealist, and an adventuress. I believe in serendipity and dream of working for National Geographic Magazine. Raised in New Hampshire and currently based in Salt Lake City, Utah, I'm a mountain child who's learning to love the desert.

I believe that being able to travel independently in foreign lands for extended periods of time is a skill, and with that skill comes a responsibility to give back somehow, either to the cultures I visit or to the people in my home country who cannot travel in this way. This is my ultimate goal: to use my writing and my photos as a tool to educate and enlighten those who are interested in the world but can't quite reach it.
